Have the building install a convex mirror at the garage exit if there is a good location to do it.

I live in that building.

Not even knowing the details of the accident, I can say that an accident was inevitable.

People on Morgan Street park right up against our driveway narrowing the exit. We even had the city paint 'No Parking' with white lines on the ground. Some a**holes park with thier cars well over the lines.

That makes for a blind exit leaving the garage. It is IMPOSSIBLE to see oncoming traffic because it is blocked by the parked cars. You can only see once the hood of the car is into the street, (which is of course too late).

So it was only a matter of time before this happened.

I've been almost broadsided leaving the garage several times. It doesn't help that NY'rs cruise down the block doing 50mph either.

2 Ambulances came and the guy seemed ok.
Lucky guy for sure....
People have to slowly exit all these buildings
downtown since cars always speed down these
side streets.

A red motorcycle was struck by a women exiting the Morgan Lighthouse garage this morning at 11:20am.

Only took 25 minutes for police & ems to arrive.
Guess it's a busy day.......
