Apparently, the car I want is not available in this region and the closet dealership I can find that has one is in PA.
I was looking at the NJ DMV site and they said it could take 4 - 6 weeks for title transfer. This won't affect getting registered and plates will it? My concern will be getting a parking permit for the car. Most of the time I do not have to worry about parking when I work dayshift, but occasionally I work evenings so I do not know what to do with the car other than parking it at the mall during the day. I cannot find any information on the JC Parking Authority site about temporary permits with a new car. Although would they even grant one to me with out of state temp plates? Would love to hear from anyone who has dealt with this.
