Follow on Twitter on March 24, 2017 at 6:46 PM, updated March 24, 2017 at 6:47 PM A man was shot inside a courtyard at a Jersey City public housing complex late Thursday and he was arrested when police found he was carrying more than a dozen bags of crack cocaine, authorities said. The 37-year-old man, whose name was not released by police, was listed in stable condition at the Jersey City Medical Center, Jersey City spokeswoman Jennifer Morrill said. The man, who was shot at the Holland Gardens housing complex, was found with 17 bags of the drug, Morrill said. He was charged with two counts of possession of CDS, possession with intent to distribute, possession with intent to distribute within 1000 feet of a school and within 500 feet of public housing.
