"Candelario has nine prior arrests in New Jersey and six convictions, according to court records. He was arrested last June on a drug charge and pleaded guilty. He was sentenced in January, but it could not be determined when he was released from jail." I am curious if he graduated from Jim McGreevy's Prison Outplacement Program... he should have qualified because it sounds like he is one of those poor drug abusers who are being cruelly imprisoned by an unfair justice system.

A career criminal has been charged with committing seven armed robberies in one day, authorities said yesterday.

Edwin Candelario, 31, of Van Wagenen Avenue in Jersey City, is charged with multiple counts of robbery, aggravated assault, conspiracy, and possession of a weapon for unlawful purposes.

On June 21, Candelario, formerly of Bayonne, began his crime spree by robbing a man at gunpoint at Bergen and Fairview avenues, according to a criminal complaint. He continued by using his handgun to rob four people, including a woman, in separate incidents at Marin Boulevard and Columbus Drive, according to police.
