Plenty of legal reasons to be out at that hour. I walk my dog after we get back from going out, which means it's often past 2am.

Jersey City man shot in leg while walking on Kennedy Boulevard in Greenville
Tuesday, June 22, 2010 A Jersey City man was shot in his right leg while walking on Kennedy Boulevard in Greenville early Saturday morning, officials said. Police responding to the call of a man being shot at 2:08 a.m. found the 18-year-old Union Street man lying in the hallway of a building on Boyd Avenue with a gunshot wound to his right thigh, reports said. The man said he was walking north on the Boulevard toward Union Street when he heard a gunshot and felt pain in his leg, reports said. He said he was able to run to the home of a friend on Boyd Avenue just off the Boulevard, where police were contacted, reports said. The victim was taken to the Jersey City Medical Center.
