Jersey City woman is robbed by a drunk man with ice pick
By The Jersey Journal March 03, 2010, 8:14AM A Jersey City woman was robbed of $4 by a drunk man with an ice pick early yesterday, officials said. The 44-year-old woman was walking east on Wilkinson Avenue when she was approached by the "highly intoxicated" man who she recognized. The man pulled out an ice pick and demanded she hand over her money. The victim, also "highly intoxicated" handed him the $4 before he ran east on Wilkinson. Anyone with information about the incident is asked to call the Jersey City police tip line at (201) 547-JAIL.
