12.50am, 7year old kid, father riding a bicycle and didn't know where his kid lived !
Sounds like crap - just a made up story for the hospital and police - I'd bet it had something to do with drugs.

Jersey City man grazed by bullets while riding bike to see daughter
By Ken Thorbourne/The Jersey Journal on November 12, 2012 A Jersey City man was grazed by two bullets early this morning while riding his bike to go see his daughter, according to police reports. A 32-year-old Jersey City man riding his bike early Monday to see his daughter was grazed by two bullets that struck his head, according to police. The man told cops he was riding his bike on Garfield Avenue at 12:50 a.m. Monday to go see his 7-year-old daughter when he "felt something hit his head," causing him to "get scared" and ride to an address on Oak Street, police reports said. At the Jersey City Medical Center, a doctor told police the victim appeared to have two round puncture wounds consistent with a projectile strike on top of his head, which did not pierce the man's skull. The man, who didn't know the address of where his daughter lived and told cops it wasn't unusual for him to visit her that hour, told police he was "jumped" by three males who "beat the hell out of" him, reports said. The police didn't see any bruises on the man's face or body and his clothes was free of any blood stains, police reports said.
