The layout is a horror. I realize it's an odd shape, but 4 bedrooms in a row across the hall from 3 baths, and the powder room is the third farthest from the living room? Man there really wasn't a way to have some of them en suite and the powder room next to the living room? No way.

Agree, and the master BR is not even the largest area-wise.

The kitchen layout is certainly not intended for someone who will actually use it. Then again, that's the case with most new apartments I've seen.

Agreed 100%. Alas, this is not at all uncommon. I toured another penthouse in DTJC and it essentially had the same layout, with three bedrooms one next to the other. That was a deal breaker for me; what's the point of having so many bedrooms if all of them will lack privacy?? Imagine having overnight guests (family or friends) and no one having enough privacy to enjoy their room without everyone else knowing what is happening. Also, why put the powder room / half bathroom towards the end of the hallway?? Wouldn't it make more sense to have the one room that mosts visitors / guests will use at the very beginning of the hallway?

Jersey City’s priciest rental is this $11K/month penthouse

The apartment spans 2,300 square feet and overlooks the Hudson River

by Nov 30, 2017,

One of Jersey City’s latest luxury developments, a 41-story rental building designed by Arquitectonica and named Ellipse, is officially home to the neighborhood’s most expensive rental.

Penthouse Five, a four-bedroom, 3.5 bathroom abode that encompasses 2,300 square feet has hit the market for a whopping $10,995/month. The apartment is one of five pricey penthouses but is no doubt the most luxurious among them and occupies a corner of the oblong-shaped building’s top floor. Its features include a huge living and dining room space, hardwood oak floors throughout, and floor-to-ceiling windows that give view to the Hudson River and Manhattan’s skyline.
