The old adage, inside every liberal is a totalitarian screaming to come out, is being demonstrated yet again through these "protests."

These "progressives" cannot handle the fact that they got blown out fair and square (actually, the system was rigged in favor of them but they still lost), and are resorting to immature temper tantrums in an attempt to usurp the will of the voters. Sad!

What's more concerning to me is the government recording people's voices and faces who are participating in these protests and broadcasting them on Television. This endless surveillence of American Citizens is out of control and needs to be ended immediately, but I fear it is only going to continue.

You are wrong, I have visited family members in the ER at the Medical Center and was asked for ID. I have buried family members and was asked for ID. I have returned items to Home Depot and similar stores and were asked for ID. ID is especially asked when you rent an apartment. I do not know what world you live in but this state & country require ID. You cannot enroll a child in school without his/her birth certificate which is the beginning of ID requirement.

I have had a similar experiences, and agree that it is getting ridiculous. My nephew bought us movie tickets to the new Harry Potter movie on the internet and said he will need to show ID to pick up the movie tickets before going into the movie theater. Seems crazy, but this is the America we live in today.

I personally don't care for the new actor playing Harry Potter, but I am still excited for the new movie.

Sometime in the 1980s my husband went to Radio City Music Hall to see a performance. He told me he saw Trump and his wife in the audience. The seats in front, back, and on the sides were empty. Trump has or did have a germ phobia. So the idea he would sit next to an unknown woman on a commercial airplane seems far fetched.

Science studies have shown that genitalia are actually quite clean in terms of germs.

It is obvious that those 2 people you posted look like certain genders and would not get a second look in the restroom.

So why does Target need to qualify the policy to only identity? Currently, males with creepy intentions that enter the women's restroom could be charged for trespassing, breaking and entering, etc. The new policy, will negate those charges because unfortunately the perp can say that is his identity.

Shouldn't the rule just be common sense? If you are transgender, based off your outward appearance, use the corresponding restroom?

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Force_field_(fiction)

Speaking of common sense, the simple solution is putting force fields that prevent predators and criminals from places they can do crime. All technology is costly, but there are ways to raise money for public safety projects (e.g., bake sales).

Terry. Are you suggesting robots check the tickets?

A well trained robot can do many things, but I don't think they should replace humans. I also can't imagine having a robot pet but others may disagree.

hey, it looks like the have fare cheats all over. look at article on boston.

my suggestion. hire more ticket checkers, make fare beaters either pay 10X fare on the spot or 20X later...and if that doesn't work, contact employer.

as for unemployed or homeless, consider it charity care

More ticket checkers is the last thing we need. Enough jobs are already being taken over by robots and replacing humans, for example Ubercars and the Android computer system. Just because Boston does it does not mean we should.

It is estimated that about 0.005% to 0.014% of males and 0.002% to 0.003% of females would be diagnosed with gender dysphoria, based on current diagnostic criteria.[5]" We are letting potentially more than 99% of us to be uncomfortable in the bathroom to allow <1% to be potentially comfortable?
Bathroom discomfort is common, actually. If anyone is uncomfortable in the the bathroom I recommend the Squatty Potty from http://www.squattypotty.com/. My nephew bought me one as a gift. It is very affordable for those worried about cost. Terry S.

That's Boston Chicken and the one in Hoboken sadly closed long ago.

JC could use one and it would rock.

I have no problem with mayor Fulop giving free healthcare to a hollywood director, as long as he films his next movie HERE in jersey City.

psyop, you are funny, but let's have a review. Fulop made sure McKnight had a job, yet he never paid his fine to the state. Fulop gave redevelopment loans to Bruce Ratner, a developer with a checkered past according to the New York Times. Then, there are those sweetheart contracts he gave to Brian Nelson, a well-known bundler and fundraiser for Steve Fulop, his firm received contracts.
Actually, I think Fulop's donations should be compared to the contracts that are given out at council meetings. I didn't even add the MUA contracts.
