Don't mean to be nosey but a better location description might help. This storefront is located on Newark Avenue between Brunswick and 3rd Streets.

Start with the Office of Zoning. If your in a Historic District that would require approval from staff and/or Commission. Good Luck!

I wish everyone would just ignore Yvonne, she is an ignorant, self serving recalcitrant and we are only adding fuel to her fire. Use your energy on something more positive. You can't fix stupidity. If we ignore her she will go away. She's not worth it.

Clearly Yvonne is suffering from some illness and we all need to pray for her.

Who decides what streets get paved? The DPW personnel? Does the Council person have any input? Monmouth from Grand to Tenth is a mess. Second from Marin to Colgate is a roller coaster ride. I don't see these streets on the list. Months ago our Mayor stopped all PSE&G jobs until they agreed to repaving. What happened? Nothing.

That area was already to go with a brand new redevelopment plan. New Light Station. Many property owners in the area were all on board with it. JC Planning was working on it for over one year. It was presented to the Mayor and surrounding community groups. Then complaints started from Hamilton Park and Ogden Avenue folks put a stop to it. No guts no glory!

I really don't want this to turn into the Yvonne show. I will refrain from commenting to her in the future. It's really not worth it. This is about Dan and the pain he has had to indure. Dan has personally and professionally helped me create a beautiful home with his wealth of knowledge and he is the one who has the courage to standup for himself.

There are five Historic Districts in Jersey City and if you own a home in one of them and want to repair or rehab it there are rules, regulations and guidelines, that you must follow. Dan's job is to follow these guidelines that are setup by a City Ordinance. He is only doing his job and he does it very well. That is why there are million dollar plus homes in these districts.

Director Cruz is unqualified for the position of HEDC Director and bullies a lot of employees in that department. Dan's is not the only compliant made against Director Cruz.

City employees just want to go to work and do their jobs and not be harassed, belittled and abused. There is a very serious hostile work environment situation in HEDC and it needs to be addressed immediately.

Re: HELP Another Man's Treasure Vintage Store Move & Expand

Surprise! The haters are out. Here we have an incredible family owned business who has contributed to Jersey City for a decade, who are merely asking their PATRONS to help contribute to a big move with will help to expand their business and offer a better retail experience (one that JC desperately needs. IDK about you but I don't feel my best when shopping at rainbow.) They are also not asking for something for nothing as each contribution comes with the promise of merchandise or services. It's frankly not our business to ask why they chose not to pursue a business loan. Ultimately they are asking their loyal customers and friends to donate IF THEY CAN AND WANT and again, receive something for their generosity. It doesn't matter if you like their business but for ONCE can JCLIST not because a big hole for shit talking. Also, I love the comment about no good businesses going into the new space...you're right. We need another fucking deli not many small family owned businesses with great merchandise and community building. I need another place to buy a pork roll. UGH! VIVA LA TREASURE.

I use to work with is clown. He likes to stir the pot. Always talking crap about everyone. He makes a lot of money and does nothing for it. He may show up everyday (9 to5) but sits around all day on his phone and surfing the internet. I recently heard he got engaged to a woman that he works with. It was a big scandal they were having an affair while still each being married. A lot of broken hearts. This is not the first time driving drunk for this guy but I guess he managed to swept under the carpet. Some people never learn a lesson. They think their VIP's.

It definitely was the people at 262 Newark Ave. These are the same clowns who pulled this all of last July. I have called the cops numerous times however they claim they cannot access the building with the door being locked. The landlord of this building is absentee and clearly does not care who his tenants are--just look at the quality of the building as he has no shame or pride. These folks must have no jobs/lives or a sick sense of humor to be setting off fireworks at ash cans between 1-5 am. My family and pets have been terrorized enough. Last year I found the smoking remnants of their fireworks on my property---what if this had caused a fire? And for what--a cheap thrill? We must band together to stop this. Please call the non-emergency police at 201 547 5408.
