What excuse is Fulop going to use for this act of violence? He blamed the last murder on bail reform. Maybe his propaganda minister Jen Morill will come up with something better.

That is hallow ground and should not be treated as a famers
market.

The Battle of Paulus Hook was fought on August 19, 1779 between Continental Army and British forces in the American Revolutionary War. The Patriots were led by Major Light Horse Harry Lee, and launched a nighttime raid on the British-controlled fort in what is today downtown Jersey City. They surprised the British, taking 158 prisoners, and withdrew with the approach of daylight. Despite retaining the fort and its cannons, the British lost much of their control over New Jersey. Lee was rewarded by the Second Continental Congress with a gold medal, the only non-general to receive such an award during the war.

That battle took place on the grounds of that park.

I forgot to add that the Hasidic Jews have a very large population
in South Jersey (Lakewood) and maybe this is Fulop's way to
get a lot of votes in that neck of the woods.

It will be interesting to watch as the Jews take over and leave
all the other minorities out in the cold. The politicians won't
know which side to take and will be sent packing unless they
pander to the newest members of the community. I am going
to grab a big bag of popcorn and watch this unfold.

I understand the politics aspect of the argument and agree
with the protestors on that count. I just don't understand how
the vocal protestors are screaming racism when Dabney filed
for retirement and will receive a nice (deserved) pension. Why
would they deny the man his retirement?

I watched the video of the JCIA meeting and it made my head hurt. Dabney requested to retire
with a nice pension. He probably sees the writing on the wall that the agency will be dissolved so
he decides to retire. The community and former politicians come to stop the committee from
voting in favor of his choice to retire and blame his choice to retire on racism. The JCIA
was never diverse and reflecting of the community it serves while Dabney was in charge.
Nobody cried racism. Now that a white man has been named interim head of the agency the community comes
out and says it is based on racism. I just don't get it.

What doe race have to do with anything. This is just two
humans interacting in a civilized manner. One just happens
to be wearing a police costume and the other is not white.
Why does everything whether positive or negative have to
be labeled by race. I'm sure this scene plays out on a
daily basis in this world but no one takes notice.

How about this scenario. A person knowingly walks into a
a police department knowing that they have no
warrants. They tell the cop that they believe that they
are a wanted person. While the cops tries to check if this
person is wanted they attempt to walk out of the police
department and the cop uses force to stop them. Pay day.
The cop will be charged with a civil rights violation and the
city will be sued. You can't have it both ways.

This D-bag as you put it may have needed what the four year old

his face so he took it. Stop being so judgmental.

This Officer Dina sounds like a Super-Cop. From what you are
posting about her it seems that she is an ultimate crime fighter.
Not many cops would be so receptive to such complaints, but she
seems like the right person to handle a situation like this.
I wonder how many arrests she has made and with such dedication
she must have put a few bad people away for a long time. I wonder
if she has a partner or is a one woman crime fighting machine.
Why an officer of this caliber is reduced to working in an office
answering e-mails is a waste of resources. She should be free
to work the street and fight crime. Great job Officer Dina.

State run mental health programs, clinics, services, medication and institutes are required NOW and should be free or heavily subsidised.
The State only mitigates this problem when a catastrophe occurs by way of a prison sentence to house our mentally ill.
Than God. The state could never pay to have all the Liberals.

Another white liberal who learned all about the "struggle" from
liberal professors who never lived in the inner city. Now that
she thrust herself into a world that she can not comprehend
she became enraged an expressed herself accordingly. The
people on Bostwick do not want her there. She is lucky she
survived her tirade. She failed to realize that the element that
she felt so obligated to protect because they have been
victimized by the evil police actually respect the cops more
then her. Typical.
