That intersection is dangerous as all hell.

You can see broken tail lights where someone recently got rear ended.

With all the family and dog traffic that go to Hamilton park you would think there would be some enforcement here.

I LOVE when people park up to the corner and people can't see you cross, yet the cops don't even ticket these cars!!

Went by last night at around 9. Line out the door.

These guys can earn a living being open 3 months out of the year.

The place is packed every time I walk by. There selection of flavors looks great. Have to stop by with my gf one night.

I walk by there everyday.

I never thought it was ghetto, or shady or blight or anything and I'm one probably one of the most anal people you'll ever meet.

There's ALOT more buildings in that area that look worse than that one.

Seaside was called Sleaside YEARS before the Jersey Shore ever got there.

People saying they "ruined" whatever reputation Seaside had clearly have never been there and are talking out their asses. If anything the people they brought down there and the money that was brought into the town definetly helped. But now you have so many people going to Sleaside the police are overwhelmed on weekends. Kinda like the random meathead fights in Hobroken.

The people who think they will ruin the reputation of Jersey City are full of themselves. Whenever I tell people I live here they sigh and give me a look like they're sorry for me. The majority of people think Jersey City is all ghetto. I think anything that would show Jersey City in another light (ie you won't get mugged walking down the street) might be a benefit.

I walk down that block every day during lunch break. I think its a lovely part of down with the historic brick faced buildings.

I've walked past that small park and see people "hanging" out there. The one day, one guy was smoking weed while the other was rolling a joint. This was like at 12 noon.

IMO, there's a lot worse they could be doing. I think people are blowing that block WAY out of proportion.
