I call bs on both of you. 1 post asking, 1 post responding.
If you are promoting your business just do that, no one is going to hire a shill.

What was misleading, were you not the one who got the food trucks banned from the plaza?

Try to resist the urge even acknowledging this 12 year old. It's hard I know, you're so much better than that though. We all are.

I know this is taking this more off topic but since it was brought up.
If 2 boots isn't doing well it certainly isn't because of food trucks it's because it's not that good and there are too many pizza places.
Haven't given them or the other places a penny since the owner listed all of the places that went against the food trucks.

What are you referring to, there is a unit in my condo doing this and looks like the bylaws don't allow it?

I'm curious as well. I voted against the last administration with the impression that this kind of thing would not be tolerated.
The lack of transparency overall is underwhelming with what was promised.

For someone to write "Just shut up" shows you have an aggressive personality. I suggest counseling. Next time I will ask for the exact name of the business downtown, so that business will know it has lost a customer.

You just sound like a broken record, complaining about the same 1 block being closed like it is the end of the world. You are in a city so yeah parking may be difficult at times but to claim that there is no parking anywhere is a crock. I've lived here for almost 25 years and I have never had to drive somewhere else because of the lack of parking.

Could anyone guess why people double park? There are no legal parking spaces left. Plus the fact 16 parking spaces were lost at the Pedestrian Mall. Just put up signs saying residents with cars are not welcome because that is the truth. Instead of addressing the issue your suggestion is just to harass drivers. By the way, these drivers spend their money at various locations. A friend recently told me she use to go a spa downtown, now she goes to a similar spa in Bayonne that has parking.

Just shut up, "There are no legal parking spaces left." That statement alone is enough that you should just stop posting.

I totally agree with cars blocking bike lanes is a problem, that's assuming that a cyclist is even using the bike lane.

Bicyclists ignoring traffic laws are a bigger problem.
Double parking should take a second seat to people on bikes running through stop signs and riding on sidewalks, I cannot count on two hands how many times i've almost been in an accident with a cyclist doing both of these things vs. a car parked in the bike lane.

Also if you follow the path tweets you also know that they have delays due to signal failure/car issues daily. Where did all that money go, what was it $1 increase per fare and they still claim to have these issues?

There are some permanent-looking detour signs around Hamilton Park. It looks like they intend to occupy that block for a long time. What a drag.

I was wondering the same thing as I drove by there this evening. The one detour sign that I noticed was cemented to the ground so I imagine it will be long term.

If you mention that Fulop is responsible for this Detective Yvonne will find out for you.

This hole is a public safety hazard and the city should have acted immediately to remediate. This is not in some back alley in a remote area but on a busy main avenue just blocks from City Hall. Once the owner was advised and did not respond the city could indeed fix the problem and bill the owner and let it wind up as a lien on the property. Councilwoman Osborne should not have to be involved
but her help is welcome. Rebranding the city and "Making it Yours" should not be like going to the dentist for a root canal.

I've been having problems with UPS as they ring the buzzer when I am home and then are gone once I get downstairs with a note left on the door which is F*$%ing ridiculous. I asked Amazon to never ship anything UPS to me and they said they can't do anything about who delivers it. Seems like some pretty inconsistent info. from them

Hey "Who Else Could it Be" or whoever you are. You don't understand the point that I and 20 other restaurants, including chains, were making. For the umpteenth time, the food trucks and stands were getting a massive government rent subsidy which enabled them to unfairly compete (in the best location in JC no less, during our peak hours) with both mom and pops and chains.

How many times do I have to repeat this simple and completely reasonable point?

I'm glad you posted the list of the restaurants as I have not not given any of them a cent since then.

If anyone tries the wing place at Hamilton Park market today please let us know how they are, I saw they posted a picture on twitter and it says:

6-$8
12-$15
24-$27

For the price I would hope they are pretty big in size.

Re: UBER - car service in Jersey City

My experience has always been much better than any cab I have taken in Jersey City. Last time I tried to call a cab it took calling 4 companies before one would even answer the phone and then they quoted $15 for about 10 blocks. Uber cars are going to vary in quality but I have never had one that was run down and they have all been really clean, some even offering bottles of water. The majority of JC cabs are disgusting inside and out.
