I have not been to the Merchant yet. The Iron Monkey is a very nice spot though.

I'm a college student and have lived in Downtown Jersey City for over 2 years now. I have voted in every election and been to council meetings. I am a renter, but i plan on someday buying in Jersey City and raising my family here.

Where do all the Jersey City single girls go???

Walking in and by most bars downtown you start to wonder if there are any girls down here!

I love living in Jersey City. Yes property taxes are high and the city goverment is corrupt. But there are alot of positives still going on. Downtown is still seeing development & and hopefully in time we can begin to see the Renassiance of the Journal Square Area.

This is a complete joke. This fire department is under staffed already. Across the river engine companies have 5-6 firefighter per company and ladder companies have six firefighters per company. The JCFD has been averaging a few working fire's a day s over the past few weeks.

At least we have five guys driving around in the forestry trucks...

Public Safety should be #1 Concern for City Hall.

40 million dollars in tax increases and your cutting the fire department and not promoting in the police department.

CHANGE needs to come in City Hall!!
