One of the presidents of the Triangle gave an interview to an American reporter. He said, he does not want his people going to the US because the people who are left are the old/sick and the very young. He said no country can grow then the working population leaves their country. No one talks about the impact of immigrant from the country left behind. Here is another way to look at it, millions left Cuba. I actually remember Cuba from magazine articles in the late 1950s, it was beautiful. Compared that to the problem Poland had with the old Soviet Union back in the 1980s. Former Reagan knew immigration would allow their enemy to win, so Reagan closed the border to the US from Poland. The people had to fight for their independence and they won. Immigration has negative consequences that we do not see in this country but is felt in the country they left.

They're also poor, hungry and tired seeking a new life in this immigrant country. Are you not Christian or have not been reading your Bible lately? Blessed are they because Jesus said so.

Jesus also said to give to Cesar what is Cesar and to God what is God. Obeying immigration laws is Cesar's job.

As of yesterday, North Dakota and Alaska lead the US in rate of COVID cases. All those infected illegal immigrants must be Canadian.

Yet Alaska leads the nation in vaccine rates. The governor is on tv with "Go Visit Alaska" and touts his 84% vaccine rate in the commercial.

This is the result of Fulop telling the public we need to save money and have all the elections in November. There are too many races and the Board of education race was ignored.

Joe Biden suspended the drilling of oil and gas on public lands. That impacted the price of that we pay at the pump and stores. Everything in the stores comes in from trucks that uses gas. We were energy independent under Trump.

This BS about who the President is affecting your gas prices, local taxes, your kid's acne... and I couldn't give a shit about Biden.

Yet Joe Biden had no problem with with Russia having their pipeline. By the way, the US gas is cleaner than the gas from Russia but we cannot use US gas thanks to Joe. So when was gas two bucks under Obama?

If Phil Murphy wins and his proposed vaccine mandate stands, there will be more teachers leaving education. A lot of people had covid and do not feel they need for the vaccine.

Here is what is missing, those property owners did not pay full taxes but now that want the full value of those homes. Those homes were built in the 1990s. So while they did not pay school taxes, they also did not pay county taxes because the 5% only applied to new construction in the 2000.

Voters are angry at Biden for not being left enough. All the spending he's proposed are popular across the board and he's letting a couple of corpo corruptos hold back his agenda. Failing on minimum wage, immigration reform, these are the real reasons Biden is low on the polls.

Republicans will be lucky to survive the next 2 years in any level. They all seems to be still stuck on Trump's ass or whatever smelly hole he's spewing crap out of.

Tyranny? Don't you have a Jan 6 reunion to attend?

Jan 6? Try every night in Portland. There is no difference. Try spending a night in walgreens in san fran. No one is stopping you from opening up your checkbook to support your pet projects. Stop spending other peoples money. $15 an hr. Thats a good one. No one is taking those jobs now when you can get paid $20 an hr to sit home

There is still rent subsidies and people are not required to pay their student loans yet. Plus there is money available for having a kid, $300 a month for under 6 years old and $250 for under 18. Then there is food stamps. If you live with someone who has a job, then you can get by with all of these programs.

I saw on a Catholic news media show a mother had her commercial yanked from Comcast. She made the commercial to show the side effects her daughter had from taking the vaccine. Her daughter was one of the volunteers last year for the vaccine as a trial period. The 13 year old girl is bedridden and has her food through a tube. A lot is not being shown.

The papers protect Murphy's spending. Christie last budget was $34.7 billion. That was a short 4 years ago. Murphy's budget is $46.4 billion. Between the spending of Murphy and Biden, the US is heading for a financial crisis.

Personally.. I paid about $10k less per year. People downtown should be happy that they had everyone in the Heights, Greenville, Bergen-Lafayette subsidizing them for a decade or more that the re-evaluation got stalled.

It is a lie that downtown was subsidized by everyone else. I went to the Hudson County Board of Taxation and looked up the taxes on downtown houses. The group made that claimed avoided the homes around Van Vorst Park and Paulus Hook that paid heavy taxes before reval. Such as the late home of Joe Duffy, his former home was on Grand St. in Paulus Hook, it was converted into a condo and paid $48 a year in taxes. There was many homes before reval and were paying over $20,000 a year in taxes to $40,000 a year in Van Vorst Park. When you cherry pick and show one one on 6th street as the example for all of downtown homes, then you lie. For the record, public housing in Bayonne and other towns do make an abatement payment to their city hall, but in Jersey City they have not made a payment since the 1960s since they have a stipulation that they can deduct water and utilities. As those cost go up, they stopped paying the city money yet they receive the same services as everyone else. But no one talks about that.

Do the math and have some Christian compassion to those 50,000 lost lives you so callously cite so your "life" can "go on."

What does Trump has to do with flu deaths? If you have a compromised immune system such as cancer or AIDs, you will have more problems fighting off the flu. It is still the elderly, or people over 80 that is dying from covid, those who die younger has other problems. 270 children, the last time I checked, died from covid and they had childhood cancer. You cannot live your life scared of everything. Healthy people will survive. I had the Hong Kong flu in the late 1960s, it was horrible but I was healthy and a weak later I was out of bed. I never went to the doctor or hospital. But millions of people died from the Hong Kong flu world wide.

Before covid-19 became the boogey man, around 50,000 people each year died from the typical flu and it is the typical person who is elderly or those with compromised immune problems but life went on. People under 50 should live their lives and those over 50 should be cautious.

Re: Solomon Kicks Off Re-Election Campaign

Solomon does not stand with people who pays property tax. He is the one who sponsored the 2 to 4 property owner bill that puts non-owner property under rent control. Rent Control is governed by the Consumer Price Index, so when taxes rises, the tenants cannot pay that increase. But the small homeowner who lives in his 2 to 4 family home as well as one family and condo owners will get the tax increase. JC must pay $250 million more to the public schools and what that does is exempt tenants from that obligation even if they have children in the school.
