I don't think you will find any thoroughly reliable information or stats on this, just anecdotal information put forth by some people to try and advance and buttress their points.

From my observations from living in the area is that there is definitely a sizable amount of couples with babies or toddlers but very few with school-age kids. In my own building there is only ONE apartment with a school-age kid (that's one apartment out of ~110) and I do think the kid attends a public school. Going by anecdotal information, which seems to jive with what one can observe, it seems like a good amount of the Newport apartments are roommate setups with 3 or 4 people sharing small spaces. The private daycares and preK private schools in our neighborhood (PAD) are seemingly very busy. Overall, I don't see or believe there are many young families living in these so called luxury high rises with school-age kids attending the JCPS system.

Didn't know about WA. But this "overtaxed" is overblown. If an $8 gram has $2 tax, do you really think that's so awful? Booze is similarly taxed and no one is hysterical. The dispensary limiting IS a big deal. If you have to drive an hour, or spend hours on public transit to reach the nearest dispensary, that's deliberate hardship.

Fulop later addressed the scheduling snafu on Twitter, writing: ?We do our best. That?s all we can do. I know after 5 years in this job that I can sadly never please everyone as sometimes issues surface. All in all I think people had a great time ? it was a long day with lots to juggle.?

A Jersey City spokeswoman confirmed to Page Six that Snoop Dogg?s performance was the reason for the delayed fireworks display.

Page Six has reached out to Snoop?s rep for comment.

Why would anybody think a rap concert would start on time @ 8:30? I am sure the producers knew that... an hour late is being very accomodating to a rap audience on a hot night.

I saw Lavarro twitter live.. it wasn't a video of the longest soundcheck ever but it was pretty apparent he was late. Jersey City should be thankful he even showed up.

Because it's that difficult to comunicate with the crowd, and give updates?
