Last weekend by the elementary school on bright st. Someone broke into my car by talking a screwdriver to my door and tried to pop The lock. there were no valuables in the car to entice a theif. Cost me 900 dollars to repair the door. Called the police and filed a report.

Heads up! a few minutes ago my son witnessed a man breaking the window of a parked car then reached in to take something. This is pretty brazen as there is a crossing guard on the corner and people picking up their kids to/from Cordero.

He's a dark skinned man with very short/bald cut, thin, about 5'8 wearing jeans a an olive shirt that has the word "Respect" on the back.

Don't leave any valuables within view in your car. We just reported it to the police along with another witness that works for Cordero.

Wow, what kind of car was it? My car is parked right around there!
