Jersey City man shot in chest
POLICE BRIEFS - Jersey Journal Monday, September 29, 2008 CHARLES HACK A 20-year-old Jersey City man was shot once in the chest outside a home at Van Nostrand Avenue and Martin Luther King Jr. Drive at 10:58 p.m. Saturday night, according to police reports. Police said the Bostwick man was treated at the Jersey City Medical Center, but a hospital spokesman had no information about him yesterday. The victim refused to share information with police about the incident, but his friend said he heard one shot, ran downstairs and found his buddy lying on the sidewalk, reports said.
