Police awards ceremony rescheduled for tomorrow
An awards ceremony saluting three Jersey City cops who helped crack the case of a murdered Heights deli owner has been rescheduled for 9:30 a.m. tomorrow. The ceremony had been scheduled for yesterday but was postponed after the shooting death of retired Officer Robert McGillis Jr. Detectives Fermin Sanchez and Paul Matos will receive commendations and Officer Scott McNulty will receive a field promotion to the rank of detective at the City Hall ceremony, 280 Grove St. PS for those who may not know him by his real name this is JCList very own Officer Mac!!!!
