Jersey City offers microbusinesses $1.5M in COVID relief

Small businesses in Jersey City have access to another $1.5 million in COVID-19 Small Business Microenterprise Grants, Mayor Steven Fulop and the Jersey City Economic Development Corp. announced Nov. 1.

The city-funded program will provide upwards of $50,000 for business-related costs incurred throughout the COVID-19 pandemic to businesses with five or less employees whose owner’s income doesn’t exceed 80% of the city’s area median income limit.

Applications will open on Nov. 8.
