9 Hudson candidates in 2017 election cited for campaign finance reporting violations

Six Jersey City city council candidates in the 2017 election, including one that dropped out six weeks before Election Day, have been cited for election campaign finance reporting violations, according to documents released Wednesday by the state Election Law Enforcement Commission.

A total of nine people who ran for office in Hudson County ? all unsuccessfully ? were among the 104 candidates statewide who are accused of failing to file reports or late reporting.
