Pay hike for Jersey City public safety director puts him in $200K clubJERSEY CITY — Jersey City Public Safety Director James Shea joined a very exclusive club this year when he became one of three city workers to make more than $200,000. Shea’s pay received a 2.5 percent boost to $200,200 for 2019, making him the third highest paid person on the city’s payroll.
