Jersey City post office open on Sundays The Jersey City Post Office at 69 Montgomery St. will be offering Sunday hours -- from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. -- for residents looking to mail packages during the holiday season. The post office will be open on Dec. 2, 9, and 16. Jersey City is one among 21 other post offices in Northern NJ that will be offering Sunday hours.
