Jersey City kicks off annual art tour at new Pathside building (PHOTOS)

The 28th annual Jersey City Arts and Studio Tour kicked off Thursday inside the newly-acquired Pathside building in Journal Square.

The weekend-long event, nicknamed JCAST, began Thursday and will continue through Sunday with nearly 1,000 local and regional artists displaying their art in more than 150 art spaces throughout the city. JCAST events are open to the public and feature visual art, interactive activities, music, film, performance, curated tours and events geared toward kids

Nearly 1,000 local and regional artists will have their artwork featured in the 28th annual Jersey City Art & Studio Tour (JCAST), which opened yesterday and runs through Sunday, with more than 150 spaces open to the public.
