The Jersey Journal JERSEY CITY -- A woman was raped at knifepoint inside a McGinley Square apartment on Sunday morning, police sources say. The Hudson County Prosecutor's Office confirmed that an aggravated sexual assault occurred at about 6 a.m. on Fairmont Avenue. Sources with knowledge of the investigation tell The Jersey Journal the man climbed up a fire escape, held a knife to the woman, and then raped her. After the assault, the suspect fled out the window leaving behind a jacket in the victim's apartment, sources said. More
