Value is in the eye of the beholder, and in this case, the owner of the bike. To many, $79 is a heck of a lot of money to be stolen away from you. To a thief or a druggie, it's just the next fix, or the means of getting from point a to b. Not a lecture, mind you, just an observation. Victims are so rarely considered with anything more than a shrug.

There's a helluva selection that would be a big draw to a thief.
People should note that a chain is only as strong as its weakest link and act accordingly. Get something cheap that doesn't attract attention and doesn't hurt to lose.
