More than 2,000 runners expected on Jersey City waterfront for Newport 10K By The fastest running course in the tri-state is returning to the Jersey City waterfront this weekend, and a record-breaking number of competitors are expected to take part in it. The 13th annual Newport 10K will kick off at 8:30 a.m. this Saturday, near the Newport Town Square at 100 Town Square Place.
