Just curious how you would use DE to treat/prevent bed bugs. I am a big believer and have used it for ants. But how would one apply it for BBs? My friend had a minor infestation and now I live in mortal fear of one. Trying to do everything to prevent it.

Since you are in the process of moving, DE is not practical.

What you want is a "Vikane moving truck." Check out the forum at bedbugger.com for recommendations.

Also, make sure you get a visual confirmation of the bugs. Don't go by the dog alone.

all you need is Diatomaceous Earth I swear by it. You can get it at Home Depot or Amazon. Its amazing stuff! Good Luck!

My work recently had a bedbug scare and lo and behold I have a small case of them now in my mattress (detected by bedbug dog). The good news is that we're moving and will have all of our items in a Uhaul truck.

Can anyone please recommend a service where you can drop off your uhaul truck for fumigation in or near Jersey City? Found one in the city and Brooklyn but it's kind of out of the way...

Or have any of you fumigated/heat treated your apartments? If so how much was that for the home service?
