All bus lanes at the Journal Square Transportation Center will be closed for the weekend starting at 9 p.m. on Friday, according to NJ Transit's website. Lanes that serve routes 1, 2, 6, 10, 67, 80, 83, 84, 87, 88, 119, 125 and 319 will be closed for repair work inside the bus terminal until about 5 a.m. on Monday, Oct. 12, according to a Port Authority spokeswoman. Instead, passengers will board buses and be dropped off on Sip Avenue between Summit Avenue and Kennedy Boulevard, about a block away from the bus terminal.
