A Jersey City man was shot twice in each leg Wednesday night after leaving a Duncan Avenue grocery store, Jersey City police said. The 20-year-old victim was found by police on Delaware Avenue, but police say the 9:25 p.m. shooting occurred on Duncan Avenue, not far from Lincoln Park. A witness told police that prior to the shooting a man, who was described as having "crazy hair," was on Condict Street trying to get into yards, the police report said. Police said the victim was walking west on Duncan and a man walking east on Duncan pulled out a gun and began firing, striking the 20-year-old twice in each leg.
