For the first time (and hopefully not the last!), The Box Colony Theatre is hosting a Fundraising Party to thank our donors for contributing to our latest production, Is That Danny DeVito? by Alexander Janosek Doyle.

On September 25th at 8pm, join us for a two-hour "Paint and Sip" Event in Downtown Jersey City, where you will learn to paint on canvas in a fun, relaxing environment while drinking complimentary wine and beer and mingling with other supporters of local arts! Alcoholic drinks will be served at no additional charge (only to our guests 21 and older!), but please feel free to BYOB if you'd prefer.

For a ticket to this event, donate to Is That Danny DeVito? at a level of $75 or higher and claim the "Paint & Sip Event" perk on our Fundraising page. We'll send you a ticket to the event along with the exact location and details of the party. But don't delay; we have a limited number of tickets available!

About Is That Danny DeVito?

Written in the style of the absurdist comedies of Samuel Beckett, The Box Colony Theatre Company?s new play Is That Danny DeVito? focuses on the psychological nonadventures of two over-educated but under-employed millennials as they wait for a perpetually delayed bus to deliver them from their New England campsite to their beloved Garden State.

As they wait, Dusty (Julian Gordon) and Geoff (David Gazzo) pass the time with the help of bizarre locals (Natasha Edwards & Carlo Fiorletta) and conversations on topics ranging from the millennial experience to celebrity culture, pop entertainment, literature, New Jersey, and whether or not a man unseen to the audience is Danny DeVito.

Tickets are $20 and discounts are available to students and senior citizens. Tickets can be purchased at the door or through Brown Paper Tickets at ITDD.brownpapertickets.com. To learn more about The Box Colony Theatre Inc., visit us at www.boxcolonytheatre.com.

Is That Danny DeVito? will be performed at Art House Productions at 136 Magnolia Avenue, Jersey City, NJ on October 8th, 9th, 10th, 16th, and 17th at 8:00pm and October 11th and 18th at 2:00pm.
