Jersey City charter school receives honors for nutritious meals; filmed for Japanese TV

The Dr. Lena Edwards Academic Charter School in Jersey City was chosen to be the first recipient school in the United States to receive support for serving nutritious meals at school through Table For Two (TFT), an international organization
whose mission is end world hunger and fight against childhood obesity.

For the second time, students at the K-8 school were filmed Friday by TV Tokyo, a Japanese television, as part of a program about TFT's expansion in the U.S. and the schools' effort to educate its children about nutrition.
