I finally found some information about the project being built at 748 Ocean Avenue near Virginia. It?s a 44 unit senior apartment complex. It is pretty cool seeing how it is being built. It is all prefab construction. Reminds me of the way the WDW Contemporary Hotel was built. (yeah yeah I know JC is no Disney World) They finished off the foundation and are now piling on the units with a huge crane. It is amazing how fast it went up. Within about two weeks it looks like most of the modules are in place.

The city should look into plopping a few of these prefabs in the many empty lots throughout JC and renting or selling the units. It would get rid of the eyesores.
