I didn't sadly. it was going too fast (yes, even on the side of the street it was supposedly "cleaning")

such a useless public expense, and NOW a public nuisance, as well.

I hope u got the plate # or the ID number on that machine.
I woulda called it into the JCIA or beter yet the JCPD.
More importantly, was it driving slow enough to actually clean the streets & pick stuff up.
They are usually flying by missing everything in its path!
Not like they used to be years ago when they drove slow & actually cleaned the street!

This morning at 9:45, a street-sweeper heading west on 6th Street blew right through the red light at Erie. He wasn't on the side that needed sweeping. To get to that side, he went to Jersey Ave, did a U-turn against that light, and then swept down the south side of 6th, pausing briefly at Erie before going through the red light AGAIN.

I know there's a flashing yellow light on top of the sweepers, but didn't realize that gave them police powers.

For what it's worth, the little scooter that usually rides ahead of these things was absent.
