'Cake Boss' features a sweet treat for Jersey City Mayor Steve Fulop

"Cake Boss" fans will get a taste of Jersey City tonight.

In the "Sicilian Samurai" episode, Buddy "Cake Boss" Valastro whips up a celebratory cake for Steve Fulop's first day as Jersey City mayor.

Valastro, who owns Carlo's City Hall Bake Shop on Washington Street in Hoboken, presented the cake to Fulop when the mayor was sworn into office on July 1, 2013. It stood 2-feet high and was decked out in red, white and blue.

The new episode, which also features a cake for the 50th anniversary of a New York martial arts school, airs tonight at 10 p.m. on the TLC network.
