Jersey City woman is choked and robbed by 2 men, police say

A Jersey City woman was choked and robbed by two men on Claremont Avenue near Rose Avenue, reports state.

The woman, 23, told police she was walking on Claremont Avenue east of Rose Avenue around 10:31 p.m. Monday she was approached by two men, reports state.

One of the men came from behind and put her in a chokehold and placed an object to her head, telling the woman, "give me your money," police said.
