School transportation is a very important thing to many of our students. Many parents either do not have the time to bring their children to school or they do not have the option. Taking school buses away from our students put more pressure on families, who are already struggling to keep their jobs and their homes.
The plan to terminate school buses is dangerous for our kids. This proposal to slash school transportation would put our children out on the streets to fend for themselves, making them targets for criminals or child predators. It would force hundreds of kids to walk through unsafe neighborhoods.

Please do not cut funding from the transportation department there are other areas that need to be looked at such as high salaries, advertising, and outside vendor contracts.
