Jersey City police say 3 teen purse snatchers may have done second robbery nearby

A Jersey City woman?s purse was snatched inside St. John the Baptist Church near Journal Square Wednesday night and the three thieves may have been involved in a nearby robbery only minutes later, authorities said.

The 54-year-old St. Paul?s Avenue woman told cops she was rearranging fliers on a desk in the vestibule of the church at 3026 Kennedy Blvd. when three boys entered the church. She assumed the boys were there to pray, a police report says
