Gunfire erupts during fight in Jersey City By Charles Hack/The Jersey Journal on December 30, 2012 at 7:19 PM Gunfire broke out in the lobby of an apartment building in the Heights section of Jersey City during a scuffle this morning involving three men, police reports said. Police were called to an apartment building at 1140 Summit Ave. at 6:47 a.m. on the report of shots fired, where they met several witnesses who said that three men were fighting in the hallway when they heard four or five gunshots, reports said.
