Bullets went through both legs of a Jersey City man who was sitting on his front porch late Wednesday night, but the wounds were not life-threatening, officials said.

Officers responded to the home of the 25-year-old victim at Bergen and Belmont avenues at 10:35 p.m. The victim told police he saw three men walking east on Belmont and one of them pulled out a black handgun and started shooting, reports said.

The man said they were shouting, ?Nobody (blanking) move? as he ran to the far end of his porch, and he was hit twice by the gunfire, reports said. It?s not clear who the intended victim was.

The Bergen Avenue man was taken to the Jersey City Medical Center for treatment and a doctor there told police he would survive the wounds, reports said.
