Meet 5 candidates running for the 3- School Board seats
TalkingPolitics.net ----- Meet 5 of the 8 candidates running for the 3 Board of Ed seats. Meet Gerald Lyons, 1A, Vidya Gangadin 2A, Marilyn Roman 4A, Sangeeta Ranade 5A and Amanda Khan 6A. There are NO incumbents running for the 3 vacant seats. The new board will be deciding on a new Superintendent of Schools to replace Dr Epps who resigned December 2011. VERY IMPORTANT! The election is Tuesday, April 17th and it's historically a VERY low turn-out one so EVERY vote counts. Keep in mind the current budget is $661 million!! Please vote! The polls will be open from 7am to 9pm. . This show is streaming off our website.
