I am childless so I not too familar with the schools here, but I go to Grace Church with the old Mayor of JC Brett Schundler who is opening a charter school in Greenville which might be a great alternative school.

Just wondering if anyone has any experience with the quality of JC public schools. I know that most are not very good, but wondering if there are any decent elementary schools? Any advice on where to go to see how a public school district is performing?
What about private schools? Are they difficult to get into since there seem to be only a few between JC & Hoboken? Thanks.
