OK I'll contribute.....I just want to tell folks to stay away from MAMIES,its on Summet and 8th,across from the wachovia. This place is horrible,my soup was cold, after I returned it ,returned to me again cold.I ordered the goat stew and there was hardly any meat in it Super utilitarian decor, arrogant wait staff. So stay away from this place

I have my own Ecuadorian princess,my beautiful wife cooking for me on a daily basis.with her I dont feel the need to eat any place else.her talent in the kitchen has impressed me for years My favorite dishes are casuela ,a hearty dish of fish and green bananas and granoso,a corn and chicken dish native of the coast .We also enjoy chicken feet soup and all types of pork.It is rare to find a woman who can create her own recipies as well .No I wont suggest a restaurant as to say I already eat plenty of Ecuadorian food in my own house and its GOOD

Can anyone recommend a place for Ecuadorian food in the Heights/Union City? Robalino's on Palisade Avenue seems to get good marks - are there other places?
