Sorry for the delay. I was out of town. If you are still looking for a family to adopt, try the Salvation Army. I belong to a church group that has been working with them for years.

Does anyone know of any local charities that do an Adopt-a-Family program for the holidays?
The kind where they assign you to a family in need and provide some info so that you can give each of the children presents. (Or it doesn't have to be kids if there are groups that work with older adults instead.) My last office used to do this as a group but my current office doesn't and I'd love to find a way to do it on my own.
