The Philippine-American Friendship Day Parade 2009 will start at the corner of C.Columbus Dr and Brunswick, proceeding on Columbus not Newark St. Therefore, we don't have to worry about the road construction on Newark.
Parade will turn right on to Grove then left on to Montgomery ending at the reviewing stand (corner Greene). SCHEDULE 8:00 am - Mass at St Bridget?s Church (located at the corner of Montgomery St. & Brunswick St.) 9:30 am - Assembly at Plaza Rizal 10:45 am- Parade kicks off (Columbus Drive To Exchange Place) More info HERE.

Sunday, 6/28, is the annual Philippine American Friendship parade at 10am. What is different this year is that the parade is going down Newark Avenue. I think this is a great spot for a parade than the usual Montgomery (and shorter). But there is so much construction on Newark that many of the sidewalks are closed. Too bad!
Hope some people will enjoy! I will be there!
