I was paying my property taxes this morning and saw a Jersey Journal front page taped up next to the window. It's the only poster around and it's right in front of you.

It says "Dems to Corzine: You're Failing Us!"

Picture of it here:

I called up a couple of city offices to find out if this is against any ethics laws, but nobody would help.

Anyone know?

I did find that if JC employees receive federal money, then the Hatch Act (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hatch_Act_of_1939) says they "must abstain from 'any active part' in political campaigns". Not sure if this counts, but definitely seems wrong for city employees to be advocating for the Democratic Party's political agenda in a public building.
