Pure random?
Please...this is utter nonsense.
I live right around the corner from here. This is one of the nicest parts of the Heights and Reservoir is one of the nicest streets.
This was a personal beef by two idiots who don't live here.
Good riddance.

Wow out of nowhere. I wonder how many people will say: I don't buy this" of "there is something fishy with this story"
Amazing how someone can alter the lives of one or many at will.

Anthony J. Machcinski/The Jersey Journal

A Jersey City man was hospitalized after he was struck in the face with a metal baseball bat, police said.

The victim told police that around 4 p.m. on Aug. 7, he was reorganizing items in his trunk in front of a Palisade Avenue home near Reservoir Avenue when he was punched in the right side, reports state.

As the victim turned around to see the man who punched him, the assailant struck him in the face with an aluminum baseball bat, the man said this morning. The 43-year-old said that he believes the attack was random.

The victim had swelling the left side of his face with several abrasions and cuts, reports state. He was treated for his injuries at Christ Hospital. The assailant fled north on Palisade Avenue.
