I much prefer restaurants that are not kid friendly - especially if there is booze around. But maybe that's another thread altogether.

Looks pretty great, kind of reminds me of Estela on Houston Street (small plates, simple rustic decor, candles).

We've been to many a high-end, "fancy" restaurant with our daughter, places that you wouldn't expect to have high chairs, crayons, special menus, etc. ... the atmosphere of a restaurant is driven by the owners and if they want to allow kids, even embrace them being there, they can.

Just because it's seemingly fancy doesn't mean it's not kid-friendly.

I was just asking...doesn't really matter to us... we'll go on a babysitting night.

Been here twice now and it's great. The food is good and the wine/cocktails/beer are a nice selection.

The question shouldn't have to be asked.

It's a fancy wine and cheese place.

A great new addition to the JC dining scene has opened up at 353 3rd street (3rd between Newark & Brunswick). Great small plates, wine selection, and excellent cocktails.
