That's truly insane. I was just in there last night and spoke to Omar (as I always do) for several minutes before I left. He is a gentle, kind, person and he's the last person in the world something like this should happen to. Here's hoping him a quick and complete recovery.

Omar, one of the owners of Fussy Friends was stabbed by a madman last evening. The injuries were considered life threatening when they took him to the hospital but I believe that has been downgraded now.

The owners of Fussy Friends are the nicest people and this is a tragedy. We hope they will capture the person who did this as soon as possible.

Yellow tape in front of the door with several police officers & detectives in front of Fussy Friends a half hour ago. Many police cars and unmarked cars parked on Newark Avenue. I hope no one was hurt.
