Just to follow up - good experience with these guys. They are just north of Observer Highway and you can park by their loading dock/call them and they will come down to pick up your rug.

They hand bound about a foot and change of torn binding on the side of an Oriental rug for $75. I didn't really comparison shop (tough to find shops that do this work) but it seemed reasonable and they guy was knowledgeable/friendly.

Also I did find one other place that would do the work but insisted they clean the rug first, which was a bit annoying as the rug is very clean to begin with - pass...
